TLDR A new treatment using nanoliposomes can improve hair regrowth in androgenetic alopecia.
The study presents a novel therapeutic approach for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) using nanoliposomes (NLPs) to co-deliver AR-PROTAC (ARV110) and NFKBIZ siRNA. This formulation targets androgen receptor degradation and reduces oxidative stress, improving the follicular microenvironment and promoting hair regrowth. The NLPs enhance skin penetration, reduce reactive oxygen species, and inhibit inflammation in hair follicles, leading to a synergistic therapeutic effect. This multi-target strategy offers a promising solution for enhancing the efficacy of hair loss treatments in AGA.
