TLDR PCOD increases weight but keeps BMI normal in young women.
The study investigated the impact of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOD) on BMI and weight among female students aged 18-21 from various colleges in urban and rural areas. Using a validated questionnaire and descriptive statistics, the research found that students with PCOD had higher weight compared to those without the condition, although their BMI remained within the normal range.
