A 10-year-old girl was diagnosed with infantile ophiastic alopecia areata and ciliary madarosis following the loss of her grandmother, which also led to a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder. Physical examination showed band-like alopecia and partial eyelash loss. Treatment included oral corticosteroids, topical minoxidil, clobetasol hair lotion, and ophthalmic latanoprost.
