Education on the Use of Plants Along the Riverbanks as Alternative Medicine for Residents of Kampung Hijau, Sungai Bilu Village, South Kalimantan

    The study focused on educating 19 residents of Kampung Hijau, Kelurahan Sungai Bilu, Kalimantan Selatan, on utilizing riverbank plants as alternative medicine. Through group discussions and educational leaflets, the initiative aimed to address the lack of knowledge and skills in this area. Pretest and posttest assessments were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills regarding the use of medicinal plants, demonstrating the success of the community service activity in enhancing local knowledge and capabilities.
