Formulation and Evaluation of Polyherbal Hair Oil

The study focused on creating and assessing a polyherbal hair oil using natural ingredients like Amla, Fenugreek, Neem, Rosemary, Hibiscus, Curry Leaves, Coconut oil, Almond oil, and Castor oil. Three formulations (F1, F2, and F3) were developed with varying herbal concentrations. These were tested for properties such as pH, viscosity, and stability. Formulation F2 emerged as the most effective, displaying favorable physicochemical properties, a pleasant odor, and good stability. It also demonstrated anti-dandruff, anti-hair fall, antimicrobial, conditioning, and hair growth-promoting activities, making it the optimal choice for herbal hair care.
