Formulation and Evaluation of Polyherbal Hair Oil Containing Nagarmotha, Curry Leaves, Amla, Hibiscus, Fenugreek, and Coconut Oil

The study focuses on developing and evaluating a polyherbal hair oil using extracts from Nagarmotha, Curry Leaves, Amla, Hibiscus, and Fenugreek in a coconut oil base. Three formulations were tested for organoleptic and physicochemical properties, as well as stability over six months at various temperatures. Formulation F2 emerged as the most stable and balanced, with a pH of 5.5 and viscosity of 48.7 mPa•s, showing no significant changes during the stability period. The study concludes that F2 is stable, cosmetically appealing, and holds potential for promoting hair growth and maintaining scalp health.
