    The document described two cases of frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) in women aged 54 and 46, presenting with a pseudo "fringe sign" that resembled traction alopecia. Both patients had hair thinning in the frontotemporal region and later lost eyebrows and body hair. Biopsies confirmed FFA with patterns of lichen planopilaris (LPP). Facial papules and thinning eyebrows helped differentiate FFA from LPP. The study suggested that more cases are needed to understand this manifestation and its implications for treatment.
