Opinions And Expectations Of Psoriasis-Affected People Regarding Substances Derived From Cannabis Sativa

The study surveyed 95 individuals with psoriasis to understand their opinions and expectations regarding the use of Cannabis sativa-derived substances for skin care. The results indicate that people with psoriasis are increasingly turning to cannabis-based products as an alternative therapy due to their perceived effectiveness, natural composition, and availability. However, the study highlights a low level of awareness and the significant influence of social media, emphasizing the need for reliable education and further clinical research. Many patients rely on personal experiences and are dissatisfied with current treatments, often making decisions without consulting healthcare professionals, which underscores the necessity for enhanced educational efforts.
