This study developed a Hyaluronic acid-Carbopol liposomal gel co-loaded with Adapalene and Clindamycin Phosphate to improve acne treatment by enhancing topical delivery and therapeutic efficacy. Using a Box-Behnken design, the optimized formulation achieved a vesicle size of 165-170 nm, low polydispersity, and stable zeta potential. It demonstrated sustained drug release, significant skin penetration, and improved skin hydration and elasticity. In vivo tests confirmed superior anti-acne efficacy and excellent skin tolerability, suggesting this formulation could reduce dosing frequency and enhance patient compliance.
