TLDR Traditional practices like Kunjal Kriya, Yoga, and diet changes may help manage hypothyroidism symptoms.
This document discusses the management of hypothyroidism through an integrated Ayurvedic approach, focusing on a case study of a 42-year-old woman with worsening symptoms despite regular thyroxine treatment. The intervention included Kunjal Kriya, Yoga, breathing exercises, dietary regulation, and lifestyle changes alongside her medication. The outcomes showed improvements in fatigue, hair loss, indigestion, dry skin, and a reduction in body weight, with significant changes in serum TSH levels. The study suggests that these traditional practices may support hypothyroidism management, though further clinical studies are needed for confirmation.
