The study addressed the challenges of bleaching fine hair, which is prone to oxidative damage due to its fragile structure. By reviewing existing literature and analyzing formulation technologies, the research proposed a safe lightening algorithm for fine hair. It was found that using bond-protecting additives with low-volume oxidants (10–20 vol) could reduce hair damage by up to 62% compared to standard bleaching methods. The study introduced a stepwise bleaching algorithm that considers hair porosity, formulation choice, and exposure time, offering valuable insights for hair colorists, cosmetic chemists, and trichology educators.
