An Assessment of the Safety, Efficacy, and Tolerability of a Novel Scalp Treatment Regimen Combining a Hydroxy Acid-Based Scrub and Copper Tripeptide Serum in the Management of Seborrheic Dermatitis in Adults

    The study assessed a novel scalp treatment regimen combining a hydroxy acid-based scrub and a copper tripeptide serum for managing seborrheic dermatitis in adults. Conducted over 15 days, the study showed significant improvements in scalp health, with a 61.24% reduction in adherent scalp flaking and a 76.24% increase in scalp hydration. Hair density and thickness also improved by 12.48% and 25.36%, respectively. The regimen effectively reduced dandruff, improved scalp condition, and enhanced overall scalp appearance, with all participants reporting satisfaction. The treatment was deemed safe and effective for reducing dandruff and improving scalp health.
