Diagnosis and Therapeutic Management of Severe Generalized Demodicosis Complicated by Deep Bacterial Pyoderma in Dog: A Case Report

A two-year-old Lhasa apso dog with severe generalized demodicosis and deep bacterial pyoderma was treated successfully using ivermectin, systemic antibiotics, antihistamines, medicated shampoo, and nutritional supplements. The dog initially presented with extensive alopecia and skin issues, but showed significant clinical improvement and hair regrowth after treatment. This case highlights the importance of thorough diagnostic evaluation and integrated therapeutic management for severe demodicosis in dogs.
