TLDR Shampooing more often improves hair and scalp health.
This study, involving 4796 participants from Saudi Arabia, investigated the relationship between shampooing frequency and hair and scalp condition. The results showed a significant correlation between hair type and hair problems, with long and curly hairstyles linked to more hair breakage and daily loss. Importantly, increased shampooing frequency was found to improve the condition of both hair and scalp. The study concludes that more frequent shampooing can enhance hair and scalp health, recommending individuals increase shampoo usage to improve their physical appearance.
