TLDR Potential androgen excess signs vary by demographics and health, needing inclusive evaluation.
The study on signs of potential androgen excess (AE) across the lifespan in a US-based digital cohort revealed that these signs vary according to demographic and health factors. This large cohort study suggests that potential AE may manifest differently among diverse groups, highlighting the need for more inclusive evaluation methods at the population level. The findings could enhance the understanding of AE and guide future research to develop more comprehensive assessment strategies.
