This study explored the wound-healing properties of sulfated glycosaminoglycans from Acipenser baerii cartilage (ACGs), revealing their potential in enhancing fibroblast function. Structural analysis confirmed the presence of chondroitin sulfate units. In vitro, ACGs improved human dermal fibroblast (HDFa) cell proliferation and migration by influencing MMP2 and Collagen 3A1 signaling. In vivo, ACGs accelerated wound closure and increased collagen deposition, with a 95.95% healing rate by day 10 at 500 µg/cm². Additionally, ACGs promoted re-epithelialization and hair follicle regeneration, demonstrating their effectiveness in wound healing.
