    This document explores the complex T-cell-mediated mechanisms underlying various forms of alopecia, focusing on the roles of regulatory T cells (Tregs) and their integration into the JAK/STAT pathway. It identifies four main T-cell patterns associated with different types of alopecia, such as alopecia areata and lichen planopilaris, and introduces a previously unrecognized spectrum of non-destructive lymphocytic folliculitis. The study highlights the pivotal role of CD8+ and Treg memory cells in hair loss patterns and examines the relationship between stem cell niches and hair follicle regeneration. The findings contribute to a conceptual framework for understanding T-cell alopecias, emphasizing the pleiotropic functions of Tregs beyond immunology, including their impact on stem cell pathways and follicular cycles.
