The study investigated the effects of Anemarrhena asphodeloides ethanolic extracts on hair growth in mice as an alternative to minoxidil. Anemarrhena asphodeloides, a traditional Korean medicinal plant, was applied to the backs of mice. The results showed that the extract promoted vigorous hair growth without affecting body weight, food intake, or serum composition. This suggested that Anemarrhena asphodeloides could be a useful hair growth promoter in the future.
