TLDR Some infants temporarily grow scrotal hair, which usually disappears on its own without any health issues.
A male infant developed transient scrotal hair growth at 15 weeks, which disappeared by 7 months, with no other signs of androgenisation and normal hormone levels. This phenomenon was previously reported in 10 infants in the USA, with spontaneous resolution typically occurring between 8-15 months. No underlying pathological cause was identified in these cases.
