Successful Treatment of Acne Keloidalis Nuchae with Erbium:YAG Laser: A Comparative Study

The study investigated the effectiveness of the erbium:YAG laser in treating acne keloidalis nuchae, a chronic inflammatory condition affecting the nape of the neck. The research was conducted by a team from the Dermatology, Venereology, and Andrology Department at Zagazig University in Egypt. The study concluded that the erbium:YAG laser was a successful treatment option for this condition, providing significant improvement in patients. The findings suggested that this laser treatment could be a viable alternative to traditional therapies, offering a promising solution for individuals suffering from acne keloidalis nuchae.
