TLDR PRP injections are safe but don't significantly improve Peyronie's Disease.
This study investigated the effects of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections on men with stable-phase Peyronie's Disease (PD). Thirty-eight participants received two PRP injections, with additional treatments including daily tadalafil and penile stretching. Results showed a modest reduction in penile curvature, with median curvature decreasing from 55° to 45°. Improvements were noted in Peyronie's disease questionnaire (PDQ) scores, but no significant changes were observed in erectile function or plaque diameter. The study concluded that while PRP injections are safe and may offer slight improvements, the reduction in curvature is not substantial enough to suggest significant long-term benefits. Larger studies are needed to confirm these findings.
