TLDR Upadacitinib effectively treats psoriasis and lichen planus together.
This case report discusses a female patient with coexisting psoriasis and lichen planus, conditions that are challenging to manage when they occur together. Initially treated with acitretin and topical mometasone, the patient discontinued these treatments due to safety concerns, leading to a relapse. The introduction of Upadacitinib resulted in significant improvement within 3 months. The report aims to enhance clinical decision-making by exploring the interaction between these diseases and the rationale for using Upadacitinib.
