Exploring the Knowledge, Attitudes, and Perceptions of Young Men Towards Fertility in the UK: A Cross-Sectional Survey

This study surveyed 408 young men in the UK to assess their knowledge and perceptions of fertility. The results showed that while a majority recognized the impact of lifestyle factors on fertility, there was limited awareness of age-related fertility decline and male-factor infertility. Most participants were well-educated, employed, and married, with aspirations to have children between the ages of 30-40. Key factors influencing their reproductive plans included partner suitability, financial security, and housing. The study suggests that routine healthcare could be an avenue for improving awareness of fertility issues, though the findings are limited by the sample's small size and potential self-selection bias.
