The Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) is a tool used by healthcare professionals to measure the extent and severity of eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis. It assesses four body regions (head/neck, trunk, upper limbs, and lower limbs) for redness, thickness, scratching, and lichenification (skin thickening), providing a score that helps guide treatment decisions and monitor disease progression.
