Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) is a chronic skin condition characterized by painful, inflamed nodules, abscesses, and sinus tracts, typically occurring in areas where skin rubs together, such as the armpits, groin, and under the breasts. It is thought to result from inflammation and blockage of hair follicles and sweat glands, leading to recurrent infections and scarring.
