The hydrogel speeds up diabetic wound healing and reduces scarring.
research Natural Protein-Based Multifunctional Hydrogel Dressing Formed by Rapid Photocuring and Zinc Ion Coordination to Accelerate Wound Healing
The study presents a novel hydrogel dressing made from chicken egg white (EW) and GelMA, infused with zinc ions (Zn2+), designed to enhance wound healing. This Zn-EW/Gel hydrogel features an interpenetrating network structure, providing improved mechanical stability and self-adhesive properties. In vitro experiments showed that the hydrogel promotes fibroblast proliferation, type I collagen expression, modulates the immune microenvironment, and enhances angiogenesis. The hydrogel demonstrated excellent biocompatibility and bioactivity in vivo, indicating its potential to restore the physiological properties of damaged wound tissue effectively.
research Double Network Physical Crosslinked Hydrogel for Healing Skin Wounds: New Formulation Based on Polysaccharides and Zn2+
The new hydrogel with zinc and polysaccharides improves wound healing and has antibacterial properties.
research Injectable Ag nanoclusters-based hydrogel for wound healing via eliminating bacterial infection and promoting tissue regeneration
The hydrogel with silver and mangiferin helps heal wounds by killing bacteria and aiding skin and tissue repair.
research Advances in Digital Light Processing (DLP) Bioprinting: A Review of Biomaterials and Its Applications, Innovations, Challenges, and Future Perspectives
DLP bioprinting shows promise for medical uses, but needs more material options and strength improvements.

5 / 1000+ resultscommunity Dermastamping — do you use hyaluronic acid as lubricant?
The conversation discusses using high molecular weight hyaluronic acid after microneedling to form a protective barrier, though it's considered expensive and offers marginal improvement. Users share experiences with different microneedling tools like derma rollers, dermastamps, and Dr. Pen, with some opting not to use any products on the scalp.
community Keratin microspheres - breakthrough
A gel of keratin microspheres promotes hair follicle growth, showing similar effectiveness to minoxidil in mice. The treatment activates hair growth pathways and reduces inflammation, with potential applications in drug delivery for hair-related disorders.
community When will FAK Inhibitors / Standford Hydrogel be on the market for hair transplants?
The conversation discusses the delay in bringing FAK inhibitors and Stanford's hydrogel to market for hair transplants, with a preference for FAK inhibitors over Verteporfin due to their superior potential in preventing scarring. The user expresses frustration over the slow progress and hopes for faster development by companies like FAKnostics.
community What’s a good carrier for GHK-Cu or AHK-Cu peptides to penetrate skin?
Copper peptides for hair loss, discussing carriers for skin penetration and recommending a product from Amazon.
community Verteporfin mixing solute for transplants
Doctors are testing verteporfin topically for healing and potential regeneration after transplants. The user is asking how it is formulated for topical use, such as if it's mixed with a carrier gel.
