Hirsutism is a condition in females characterized by excessive hair growth in a male-pattern distribution, often leading to emotional distress and prompting dermatological consultations. Another user suggested stress is likely the main factor, not the medication, and advised consulting a healthcare provider if headaches persist.
A user experienced significant hair loss after starting microneedling, despite using dutasteride and topical minoxidil. They are advised to consult a doctor as the shedding pattern is unusual and may indicate alopecia areata or other scalp conditions.
