September 2023 in “Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology” The post hoc analysis of the ALLEGRO phase 2b/3 study evaluated the sustained efficacy of ritlecitinib, an oral JAK3/TEC inhibitor, in patients with alopecia areata over 48 weeks. Results showed that among those who responded to treatment at Week 24, over 85% with a SALT score ≤20 and over 68% with a SALT score ≤10 maintained their response through Week 48. Additionally, more than half of the patients with eyebrow and eyelash improvements sustained their response.
