Injectable platelet-rich fibrin improves hair growth and reduces hair loss in women.
research Trichoscopic features of frontal fibrosing alopecia: Results in 249 patients
Trichoscopy helps diagnose and assess the severity of Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia.
research Collagen-type synthesis in human-hair papilla cells in culture
research 創傷治癒のための増殖因子を補足可能なバイオマテリアルとしてのヘパリン機能化コアシェル型ナノ繊維に関する研究
The study explored the use of heparin functionalized core-shell type nanofabrics as a biomaterial for skin wound healing. These nanofabrics, made from PCL/gelatin, were designed to sequester both exogenous and endogenous growth factors (GFs), addressing the challenge of GF instability and the risks associated with overdosing. The research demonstrated that these nanofabrics, called Hep-PG, promoted effective and scarless tissue regeneration within 14 days by leveraging the synergistic effects of exogenous and endogenous GFs. This approach minimized reliance on exogenous GFs alone, enhancing safety and efficacy in tissue regeneration.
research 1493 Dynamic changes in fibroblast subpopulations drives development of radiation-induced skin fibrosis through the fra/c-jun pathway
Radiation treatment causes skin fibrosis by increasing certain fibroblast subpopulations, but using a c-Jun inhibitor or fat grafting can reduce this effect.
research Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia
Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia is a type of hair loss affecting mostly older women, with no agreed best treatment.
research The Proteins of Normal and Aberrant Hair Keratins
Hair is mostly made of three protein types: helical, high-sulfur, and high-tyrosine.
research Lichen Planopilaris With Foreign-Body Granuloma
Foreign-body granuloma may be a marker for late-stage Lichen Planopilaris and should be considered in diagnosis.
research Immunohistochemical dissection of cystic panfolliculoma focusing on the expression of multiple hair follicle lineage markers with an insight into the pathogenesis
Cystic panfolliculoma resembles hair follicle tumors due to specific cell interactions.
research Injectable and biofunctionalized fibrin hydrogels co-embedded with stem cells induce hair follicle genesis
A special gel with stem cells can create new hair follicles.
research Differences between ultrastructure and protein composition in straight hair fibres
Lustre mutant sheep have normal hair structure and proteins but differ in felting properties.
research Locations of synthesis of hair structural proteins in human anagen follicles
Hair structural proteins are synthesized sequentially in specific cells, offering a new way to study hair proteins and defects.
research Follicular mucinosis: A detailed morphologic and immunopathologic study
Benign follicular mucinosis involves immune cells attacking hair follicles.
research Characterization of the mechanical properties of the cortex region of human hair fibers by multiparametric Atomic Force Microscopy mapping
Atomic Force Microscopy is a more accurate way to assess hair damage and the effect of cosmetic treatments.
research Sample preparation protocol for cross-sectional microscopy of hair fibers v1
The document describes a method for preparing hair for microscopy by embedding it in plastic, cutting it, and storing it cold before imaging.
research Faculty Opinions recommendation of Symmetry breaking of tissue mechanics in wound induced hair follicle regeneration of laboratory and spiny mice.
research Post-menopausal frontal fibrosing alopecia
The document concludes that post-menopausal frontal fibrosing alopecia is a poorly understood condition that does not respond well to common treatments.
research Is there a pathogenetic link between frontal fibrosing alopecia, androgenetic alopecia and fibrosing alopecia in a pattern distribution?
Frontal fibrosing alopecia and androgenetic alopecia may be related, with a possible shared cause.
research Trichohyalin: Presence in the Granular Layer and Stratum Corneum of Normal Human Epidermis
Trichohyalin is also found in the outer layers of normal human skin.
research Fibromodulin reduces scar formation in adult cutaneous wounds by eliciting a fetal-like phenotype
Fibromodulin treatment helps reduce scarring and improves wound healing by making it more like fetal healing.
research Transcriptome analysis of frontal fibrosis alopecia revealed involvement of immune cells and ferroptosis
The research suggests that immune cells and a specific type of cell death called ferroptosis are involved in Frontal fibrosis alopecia.
research Minimum Structural Requirements for Minoxidil Inhibition of Lysyl Hydroxylase in Cultured Fibroblasts
Minoxidil needs specific structure to block lysyl hydroxylase; exploring alternatives may keep benefits without this effect.
