In an AGA animal model, CTIL reduced ROS, alleviated oxidative damage and inflammation, inhibited hair follicle miniaturization, and promoted hair regrowth. This research highlights the potential of bioactive ionic liquids in treating AGA by integrating delivery and therapeutic functions.
