Involving 96 adult patients from 11 Italian Dermatology Units, the study found that 61.5% of patients achieved a SALT score ≤ 20, indicating significant hair regrowth. Additionally, 67.6% and 69.7% of patients showed marked improvement in eyebrow and eyelash hair loss, respectively. No significant adverse safety events were reported, confirming baricitinib's effectiveness and safety as a treatment for severe AA, consistent with clinical trial results.
