Phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of alkaloids, glycosides, flavonoids, steroids, carbohydrates, and tannins. The antihelminthic activity was tested using Indian adult earthworms (Pheretima posthuma), with results measured by the time taken for paralysis and death of the worms. The study suggests that Moringa oleifera could be a viable herbal alternative with fewer side effects.
