A study comparing the effectiveness of a single-wavelength 755 nm laser to a dual-wavelength 755 nm and 1064 nm laser for axillary hair removal in skin types II and III found that the 755 nm laser was more effective, with results lasting up to 12 months post-treatment. The procedure was deemed safe, while the dual-wavelength laser provided no additional benefits and resulted in slightly more adverse effects.
