A 26-year-old male with alopecia universalis, unresponsive to conventional treatments, experienced complete and sustained hair regrowth after taking ruxolitinib, a Janus kinase inhibitor, at 20 mg twice daily. Significant improvement was noted within 12–18 months, with excellent tolerability and no significant adverse events. This case suggests that ruxolitinib is a promising treatment for refractory alopecia universalis, offering potential for hair regrowth and improved quality of life.
