Advances in the Study of Small Cell Lung Cancer and Metabolic Syndrome

    利静 张
In recent years, there has been a significant global increase in the incidence of lung cancer and metabolic syndrome, with a notable correlation between the two conditions garnering attention from the medical community. Research indicates that metabolic syndrome is linked to the development of various malignant tumors, including lung cancer, primarily through mechanisms such as insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and oxidative stress. This paper reviews the progress in understanding the relationship between small cell lung cancer and metabolic syndrome.
