TLDR Ayurvedic treatment effectively regrew hair in a child with alopecia areata in 8 weeks.
This case study focused on a 14-year-old male with alopecia areata, treated using Ayurvedic herbo-mineral formulations over 8 weeks. The treatment involved both internal and external therapies. Initial hair regrowth was observed after 2 weeks, with significant coverage by the 4th week, and complete hair regrowth by the end of the 8th week. The study concluded that Ayurvedic therapy was effective in managing Khalitya, or alopecia areata, in children.
