An Ayurvedic Diagnostic Approach to Understanding Trichoscopic Findings in Hair Loss: A Conceptual Review

This review explores the integration of trichoscopic imaging with Ayurvedic diagnostic methods to enhance the understanding and management of hair loss. By analyzing trichoscopic images of individuals with hair loss, the study aligns these findings with Ayurvedic signs (lakshanas), focusing on parameters such as hair density, distribution, follicular units, and vascular patterns. The results demonstrate a strong correlation between Ayurvedic diagnostics and trichoscopic findings, suggesting a scientifically sound approach to diagnosing and managing hair loss and related scalp conditions.
