Clascoterone Cream 1% in Acne Management: Case Series and Real-World Canadian Experience

TLDR Clascoterone cream 1% is effective and well-tolerated for treating acne and other related conditions.
This case series examined the use of clascoterone cream 1% in 10 patients with acne vulgaris from August 2023 to May 2024. The treatment was found to be effective and well-tolerated across various severities, ages, genders, and ethnicities. Clascoterone cream 1% showed clinical improvement as a monotherapy, in combination with other treatments, and as maintenance therapy to prevent acne relapse. Additionally, it addressed other conditions such as hirsutism, hidradenitis suppurativa, retinoid-induced dermatitis, androgenetic alopecia, folliculitis, and laser-induced acne flares. This real-world experience supports the cream's effectiveness, tolerability, and versatility for diverse patients with acne vulgaris.
