TLDR Deuruxolitinib helped regrow eyebrows and eyelashes in a man with resistant alopecia universalis.
A 30-year-old man with a 23-year history of alopecia universalis, who had minimal response to previous treatments including tofacitinib and ritlecitinib, experienced significant regrowth of eyebrows and eyelashes after six months of treatment with deuruxolitinib, although scalp hair remained largely unchanged. This case suggests that deuruxolitinib may facilitate site-specific hair regrowth in treatment-resistant cases of alopecia universalis, particularly in eyebrows and eyelashes, even when scalp hair recovery is not substantial.
