A 23-year-old male with Dushivishajanya Indralupta, a form of alopecia barbae with a toxic origin, was successfully treated using Ayurvedic methods. The treatment involved Shamana (palliative internal medication) and Shodhana (purificatory Pracchana Karma) therapies. Within 10 days, significant improvement was observed, including the appearance of tiny hairs in the affected beard area. This case highlights the potential effectiveness of Ayurvedic management for alopecia barbae.

The patient experienced a significant reduction in hair fall, itching, and lesion size, with marked hair regrowth and improved hair density by the end of the treatment, highlighting Ayurveda's holistic approach as a promising alternative for Alopecia Areata management.
