Features of self-attitude in female patients with alopecia of various origins

This study examined self-attitude in 153 female patients with diffuse alopecia, focusing on metabolic (n=45) and mixed (n=108) forms. Patients with metabolic alopecia showed higher self-attitude levels, indicating better psychological adaptation. In contrast, those with mixed alopecia exhibited lower self-respect and increased internal conflict, correlating with anxiety and adjustment issues. These differences were statistically significant. The study concludes that self-attitude is a crucial indicator of psychological adaptation in alopecia patients, and assessing it can enhance personalized medical and psychological support.
