    The study focuses on female androgenetic alopecia (APF), the most common form of hair loss in women, which significantly affects their quality of life. It reviews 16 scientific articles to explore the diagnosis, epidemiology, pathophysiology, and treatments of APF. Despite extensive research, the hormonal influences on the female body related to APF are not fully understood, highlighting the need for ongoing research and development of new therapies.
