TLDR Combining fire needle therapy with salicylic acid may improve skin barrier and balance skin bacteria in acne patients.
The study investigates the effects of combining fire needle therapy with salicylic acid on acne patients, focusing on skin lesion recovery, skin barrier function, and skin microecology. Patients were randomly divided into a combined treatment group and a control group receiving conventional drug therapy. The study measured changes in skin lesion severity, transepidermal water loss rate, stratum corneum moisture content, and skin surface lipids. High-throughput sequencing analyzed the diversity and relative abundance of skin surface microbiota. The combined therapy showed potential benefits in improving skin barrier function and microecological balance compared to conventional treatments.
