The study conducted on 85 females with PCOS at a tertiary care facility in Jauharabad, Pakistan, highlights the underappreciation of holistic approaches in managing PCOS, which include diet, exercise, and mental well-being. Results show that 78.9% of participants experience mental health issues, and only 33% follow a healthy diet, while a mere 17.7% engage in daily physical activity. Emotional and psychological barriers, along with conflicting information, hinder effective management of PCOS, affecting the quality of life. The study suggests that holistic treatments should receive more attention to address the emotional, physical, hormonal, metabolic, and nutritional challenges associated with PCOS.
