Human Secretomes, Plant Exosomes, and Hybrid Secretomes Intradermal Injections for Hair Regeneration: Experimental Study

    TLDR Hybrid secretomes are most effective for hair regeneration.
    This study investigated the effects of human adipose-derived secretomes, plant-derived exosomes, and hybrid exosome formulations on hair regeneration in healthy hamsters. The results showed that hybrid secretomes were most effective in stimulating proliferative and stem cell-associated markers, as indicated by the highest levels of Ki67-positive cells and CD34 expression. Human secretomes demonstrated strong Wnt/β catenin activation, with pronounced nuclear β catenin localization. Plant exosomes also contributed to hair regeneration but were less effective than the hybrid secretomes. Overall, the study highlights the differential mechanistic effects of these biologically derived formulations on hair follicle regeneration.
