Polyherbal Powder Shampoo: A Sustainable Step Towards Green Generation Hair Care

    TLDR The polyherbal powder shampoo is a safe, effective, and eco-friendly alternative to synthetic shampoos.
    The study developed and evaluated a polyherbal powder shampoo using Ayurvedic medicinal plants like Shikakai, Reetha, Amla, Bhringraj, Neem, Hibiscus, and Multani Mitti for eco-friendly hair care. Three formulations were tested, with F3 showing superior performance in cleansing, conditioning, and scalp protection. The shampoo demonstrated significant antimicrobial and anti-dandruff activity, with satisfactory foaming, cleansing, and conditioning properties. The study concludes that this polyherbal shampoo is a safe, stable, biodegradable, and effective alternative to synthetic shampoos, integrating traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with modern scientific evaluation.
