Precocious Pubarche in a 7-Year-Old Patient: A Case Report

Manuel Flores Sáenz, Julia Rodríguez Redondo
TLDR A 7-year-old girl developed early pubic hair growth without other puberty signs, diagnosed as isolated premature pubarche.
This case report discusses a 7-year and 9-month-old female patient who presented with precocious pubarche, characterized by the early development of pubic hair without other signs of puberty such as body odor or breast development. The patient had a normal birth history and no significant medical or family history, except for the mother's early menarche and hirsutism. Physical examination and hormonal studies were normal, leading to a diagnosis of Isolated Premature Pubarche. The patient was scheduled for quarterly follow-ups to monitor her condition.
