TLDR PRP therapy may help with ovarian issues and fertility, but more research is needed.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy shows promise as a non-invasive, cost-effective treatment for ovarian insufficiency and fertility preservation by enhancing ovarian repair, improving hormonal balance, and alleviating menopausal symptoms. The therapy increases blood flow, inhibits apoptosis, and promotes cellular repair, leading to improved outcomes in in vitro fertilization and potential benefits for conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis. However, the optimal dosage, safety, and long-term effects remain uncertain, necessitating large-scale trials and follow-up studies to standardize its use in reproductive medicine.
