TLDR Hair transplantation greatly boosts self-esteem, relationship satisfaction, and sexual functioning.
This longitudinal clinical study conducted at Vera Clinic involved 40 male patients undergoing hair transplantation and assessed changes in self-esteem, relationship satisfaction, and sexual functioning over 12 months. Using validated instruments, the study found statistically significant improvements in all domains, with large effect sizes (Cohen’s d = 1.30–1.85) and significant correlations between variables. These results suggest that hair transplantation is associated with enhanced psychological well-being and relational functioning, potentially due to improved body image and social feedback processes.
