TLDR Topical Stemoxydine improves hair density in androgenetic alopecia with few side effects.
This study investigated the effectiveness of topical Stemoxydine for treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 35 patients over 3 months. Results indicated significant improvements in hair density and diameter, with 97.1% of patients showing new hair growth. Patient satisfaction was high, and adverse events were minimal. However, the study's single-arm design, short duration, and small sample size limit the ability to establish causality and generalize findings. The authors suggest that further randomized controlled trials are necessary to confirm Stemoxydine's efficacy compared to established treatments like Minoxidil.
